The frost lifted last night around 11pm as cloud increased, and the temperature rose from zub zero to +3c, rain followed around 3am this morning producing just 1mm. After a damp and overcast morning, rain returned around 9am with a an increasing SW wind which continued for much of the morning. The afternoon was brighter with some weak November sunshine. Maximum temperature 9c, rain=2mm.

A good frost now on the ground and in the air. i've just got back from walking the dogs and it's wonderful to see all the leaves on the ground encrusted with a million diamonds under the warm glow of the orange lamp light, and to have the air so breathable. what summers eve could even compare to such a thing? All you 'mildies' have a very poor lot to aspire to <_<
