Another cold and frosty night here, with the minimum air temperature falling to –3.4c around 3am, however cloud increased to overcast and by reading time at 9am the temperature had risen to 0.1c. The morning and afternoon continued cloudy, calm and rather cold with just a couple of bright spells. Maximum temperature 5c. Rain, none.

A really frustrating day with clear sky to the W and NW all day long while it stayed cloudy here with a few light showers. The sun shone for 15 minutes as it set through the clear area .

Not around as I'm doing the same walk as on Thursday, so will have 1st hand account of it around 1000ft near Ashford.

this is a re-creational snowfall made by me its 0.5 cm thick ( i got bored of waiting for the real good stuff) anyway i made it with flour and a very very very fine seive it was at the time so doesnt look as good as i thought
