Hi Cheryl, I think you may well be misreading the alert, there's no mention of the IOW specifically and also no mention of any appreciable snowfall! The alert is for heavy rain for those below 300m..

:doh: omg h8 2 be sarky but that is a crap prediction. i live on the isle of wight and we aint had a decent snowfall since about 7-years-ago

I live in gosport the last decent snow was either 96or 97,december 16th,but i think we are in for a treat this year. :D:D
