Hi Cheryl, I think you may well be misreading the alert, there's no mention of the IOW specifically and also no mention of any appreciable snowfall! The alert is for heavy rain for those below 300m..

I live in gosport the last decent snow was either 96or 97,december 16th,but i think we are in for a treat this year.

you were right its snowing in melton mowbray, how long will it last ?

Yep,it's snowing here in the West Midlands.The roads,pavements,and my garden are covered.Apparently it will cease during the early hours of Monday morning,but what the heck,it looks great. :lol:
