talking to a friend in oz and i mentioned the upcomming storm for the uk.

he can listen online to shipping around oz.

whats our chance here,im to far inland for a handheld scanner.peterf

It is possible to listen into the Marine Bands within 50 mils of the coast , we can recieve Portland coast guard station hat is about 70 miles away with an ariel on a tower about the best you can get .

Just remember it is ilegal to transmit from onland on Marine radio!
