Almost 100% sure it is somewhere in the Central Belt of Africa, near to Burkino Fasa or that area, have a weather facts book that says they get over 200-250 Storm Days per year :o :) NICE!

thanks Paul.....Thats very handy to know..will do some research for that area..cheers..thats a lot of storms...you I thinking of USA next year for Tornadoes...and some place for regular TS for photography...Going to North East Spain for two weeks for taking pics of storms(lightning) in September as I know they get some good electrics there....Check out if that part of Africa is safe/......Does your book say anything about Darwin at all...or Florida

    Yeah

Darwin and Florida are very good also, as is Mainland Spain in Autumn, Darwin would be good as the Tropical Cyclones brush past for some corking Lighning over the Sea shots, Florida has Lightning Alley along Interstate 4 which gets Storms most afternoons from May until September from Sea Breeze Convergence Storms, these sometimes produce Waterspouts but lack the Supercell Punch.

Dont know wether Burkino Fasa is safe or not, will try to find out!
