Well what a nice surprise.....snow started falling at about 2am this morning as I was heading to bed, and was pretty intense, still snowing at the moment, albeit lightly & is pretty foggy, worse than shown in the pictures; seems to be covering the whole area now. Theres quite a few inches in some parts. Im just wondering if this is the end or is there anymore to come?

Yes it has its advantages, but its another matter when gales are blowing your roof off and your central heating bills are through the roof! lol

Brilliant pictures, very atmospheric, they remind me a lot of when I was younger up in'thills, near Buxton :)

The foggy valleys look lovely... :):) I can't look any more :):)

Yes russ, its quite similar climate here to that of Buxton, infact theres long been a campaign to get our forecast compared to that of Buxtons, but instead what do we get? Manchester airport!! lol, its always a lot warmer down there!!

Anyway, bit different here today, very soggy but still chilly. Temp only 5.5oC at the moment. Thanks for all your comments, but lets pray for some sunshine and warm temperatures
