Well, folks this is a non-English urban garden. The Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver has a large display of flowers and shrubs including the cherry blossom display which is peaking at this time. I haven't identified the flowers or trees because I think most of them will be quite familiar to you, the species are pretty much imported from the British Isles in most cases. Some of the background trees are of course native to this area, and include red cedar, hemlock and pine.
