GAIA theory

I've been looking everywhere for information on Lovelocks theory and whether the world really will look a mess in 40yrs... and if so are there any websites you could direct me to erm if it's already written somewhere and I totally missed it in the climate forum then point me there! lol thanks for any help and info...

Some think that Gaia is some kind of mystical religious belief but it's not, Lovelock being a scientist and all. Interesting theory for sure.

So far as I have grasped this, it is about treating the whole globe as a single organism.

All changes within this organism count as parts of its 'life', even the slow geological changes.
