This seems to do most things for the amateur forecaster and it's got £30 off at the moment in Maplin.

Probably nothing to worry about on this model but I bought a similar weatherstation from Maplin (maybe the model below this one) and the rain gauge packed up within a few weeks. Nothing blocking it, just didn't record any rainfall. Took it back and got a new one, to only experience the identical problem now, the rain gauge fails to record any rainfall, it's said we've had 3mm of rainfall this month which is clearly not correct as we had flooding at the beginning of the month here. The wind sensor still works fine and the humidity/temp/dew point are all accurate it's just the rain gauge I've had problems with.

I'm glad I have a second weatherstation that does rainfall but obviously that's not the point.

It looks like a La Crosse station..

Should be good and if the bucket does pack up then you should be able to upgrade it at a reasonable cost. :)
