Kept having drizzle showers followed by sudden brightness while for most of the time it was dull and misty with fog on Salisbury Plain. :?

Can't be right that. Walney Island is off Barrow in Furness in Morecambe Bay? That must be the warmest maxima recorded in February in that part of the world (!!!). TWS will be able to completely discount that one, i'm sure. Maximum here today was just short of 7 degrees at 11am. Heavy rain between 6.30-7pm, with a temp of 4-5 degrees with a light, at times nearly moderate NE wind. If we do get a little colder into thursday by say 2-3 degrees, then perhaps sleet may be on the cards, if we get any heavyish ppn like this into the evening-overnight.
