Someone on TWO said today reminds them of last summer, yes it reminds me of last August, atrocious month for sunshine, today feels like that but obviously cooler.

It does feel like last summer - that muggy dull type of day... Was lovely here earlier on with lots of sunshine but clouded over later. Nice to be back to just the light jacket again!

It was also some light winds today, nothing special really, but it felt quite chilly during the afternoon. But it is barely nothing compared to the other half of Sweden. Most places are experiencing nearly 5°c below average terms for February due to much clear skies and many mornings in a row below -20°c.

In Stockholm it has been no lower than -12° to -11°c. We are also experiencing a big lack of snow, barely measureble because of a too long dry spell recently. It was ages before it snowed and the average snow depth since 1 January has never been deeper than 4 cm. But still it hasn't been especially mild over here. Highest temp. this far in February is barely a 2°c which doesn't seem to become broken until March...

Exceptionally mild today, with a maximum temperature of 13.3C - the warmest since 15th November. Last night was a mild one too, reaching a low of 7.1C. Suprisingly it has been rather nice, with some sunshine, though it has turned overcast with drizzle in the last couple of hours.

Our mean here has now increased by 1.2C in just 3 days. Amazing the damage a few days of mild can do. At this rate we'll reach the 1971-2000 mean which would be a massive disappointment considering we were 3C below average on the 14th!
