More light rain moved in by observation, though cleared soon afterwards, but it remained mostly cloudy and rather damp in to the early afternoon. Clearer fresher conditions moved in to the area around mid-afternoon with sunshine. Feeling mild with a maximum temperature of 10.0c maximum wind gust 18mph, southerly.

For the first day since Christmas I can't report my current exact temperature and humidity because my weather station's decided to stop receiving signal from the sensor!

I can say that it was 12.1c at 13.00 and we have a calm, cloudy, dry afternoon after hazy sunny spells and a few light showers this morning (which followed a slight frost after the minimum of 1.1c).

The old fashioned thermometer says it's 13c and it feels quite humid.

It felt a little chilly at times in the wind though.

Sunny intervals at first this morning but cloud thickened after 0930 and brought a few spots of drizzle around 1100, by midday however the cloud was breaking again and there were sunny intervals during early and mid-afternoon. Cloud thickened again after 1530 but it remained dry.
