A warm, bright day with sunny spells and areas of Stratocumulus. A gentle SW breeze and temperature currently at the maximum so far of 20.1c after being between 19.3c and 19.9c for around 3 hours. Humidity is 65%.

I don't think today's cloud is anticyclonic gloom, my opinion is that it's due to the effect of the warm sector that's associated with yesterday's LOW. Warm sectors generally have low cloud and we're seeling the effects of the HIGH taking over from the South as the cloud breaks from time to time.

Despite a warm start, and humid start, it ended up quite a cool day really, maximum temperature came in at 19C

I fail to see how tomorrow will reach 24C given it's almost a certainty there will be a seabreeze at some point.

Sunny intervals after a cloudy start, wind light S. Maybe the warmest day so far here - with a definite muggy feel. I say 'maybe' because my thermometer showed a maximum of 26.0, which seems optimistic - although it was still showing 22 at 7pm, so maybe not impossible. Anyone else in the London/Thames Valley area get a high temperature reading today?

WOW is what I'd describe this evenings weather - very warm & very nice! Absolutely perfect summers evening weather - a sunny & warm early evening followed by a warm & clear late evening and no hint of it getting chilly at all.

An unusaal treat - managed to sit outside with needing a coat or jumper all evening at the pub then got to ride home watching a stunning sunset whilst being blasted by only warm & tender nice smelling air. If only every post work drinks were this nice!

Currently 18.3c at 10pm with still some daylight to play with - THIS is the summer happy zone!
