hint of fine grains falling in bridgend barely noticible nothing on radar, i think these are just materialising out of nothing, if that is possible???

Light snow here.

It's falling like little grains... at rate of 0.1mm/hr I expect :(

Alot of these showers will just appear over land I expect as the warm moist upper air front goes over the cold air below.

This is happening west of London at the moment and I'd expect the showers to grow the further inland where the air below is colder.

That's my theory anyway .

Sky has a very orange glow to it, which is normally a good sign.

Yes I was going to say the same, i hope the light snow forecast isnt THIS light however. it's a bit too light

Looking at latest radar the clump building out in the English channel stalled and beginning to show movement NW onto the land.

The showers west of London heading East are also becoming more organised.

as everyone else is saying, VERY fine grains falling steadily here.

it'll be 2012 before we get an INCH at this rate!

so much for the new ice age!

looking at radar it seems that clump has moved down further south and is now going to miss south east wales. if it had no moved id have expected it to be snowing here right now.

nope - that's about the best - can't sleep myself - had about 5 hours but am wide awake again - guess the stress of my car is playing on my mind a bit - it's only half a mile down the road but! - seems alot of the precip is passing to the south but it's still early days in this set up - a little patience is required I think

I've just been reading about the STC (traction control system) that volvo have put on my car to see If I've missed anything and might be able to drive my way out tomorrow instead of being pulled out!

Intresting but Joe has been ramping for years every long term winter prediction is cold so he's gonna get it rite one day and voilla he has this year but nobody looks at his pearshape forecasts because it's convenient, Long range forecasting only gives us a general idea at best and tbh there is no point doing it.

more light flurry clouds approaching from worcester way on radar - seems with this kind of set up the welsh mountains will increase the precip as it gets here

Hi Guys,

Well this looks to be going way of the pear! Ppn seems to be disappearing and all we are going to get is flurries - again, Meto warnings are ridiculous - we know they do not guarantee snow etc - but they are pure crap!
