    A very slight air frost-min -0.2C-bits of soft hail in places then a light brief snow shower around 0800 just about covered the ground.

    so another 0900 snow cover it would seem.

    8am temperature -1c,weather scattered clouds after some wet snow last night gave a covering of slush which froze making pavements very trecherous this morning.It is currently dry and sunny but still icy.

    A dry start to the day with sunny intervals and a variable amount of cu and stcu. A few light snow showers earlier this morning adding a few tenths of a cm to the cover from late yesterday afternoon; it's the 5th morning this month with lying snow, 3 of them with less than 1cm.

    Temp' is -0.5c after a min' of -0.8c. Mean wind speed is 22 mph NE/N. Vis', 50 km.

    Lovely late winters day with lots of sunny spells, turning more cloudy now and it feels very cold today as that colder crisper air moved in from the northeast, max of 3C.

    I`m so glad i predicted a colder and drier week when so many were going for mild and wet :rolleyes:

    A mainly dry morning with sunny intervals and a f4-5 N wind. Heavy snow and soft hail showers arrived from the north east during the early afternoon and continued until 1530,after which time there were just a few light snow showers.

    Although the overnight min' was -0.8c the temp' fell to -2.1c at 1530 after a heavy snow shower, just 20 minutes after it had reached the max' for the day of 0.4c.

    A mostly clear and sunny day with occasional snow showers. There was a light dusting for a time in the afternoon, but it quickly melted.

    A cold day with a max temp of just 2.5C. The min just after 9am was -0.1C. Currently 0.7C with the temperature being held up again due to the onshore breeze.
