Hi.Please could any of you clever Guys/Gals help me with a problem with my weather station? Ive had this weather station nearly 3 years and its been working perfect, but the temperature and outside humidity and dewpoints is now longer showing on my consull! The wind info and rain info is still being broadcast to my consull but the rest is not and Ive changed my base unit battery. Any ideas what is wrong.?? :):)

Hi, I have had the same weather station since October 2007 and had this problem intermittently near the end of July last year getting worse into August when it was almost permanently not receiving readings. At first I thought it must be something to do with the battery in the ISS and the solar panels as it would often stop working at night or during/after wet weather for some reason, but after changing this battery, and the console battery just in case (even though it was connected to the mains) the problem still remained.

After trying what I could I came to the conclusion that it must have been the sensor packing up so eventually ordered a replacement/upgrade temp/humidity sensor from Skyview (the company I brought the station from) which cost over £100 but I would rather have paid that than have no data!

Hope this is useful, not sure if its the same problem you have though it sounds similar so sounds like it may be the sensor going wrong, hope its an easier to fix and less expensive problem than that though.

Thankyou for the time and trouble to reply back! Just got back from a couple of days away and its now working, seems to me that in the very dull and cold conditions of late its packed up and as soon as the brighter/sunnier conditions have arrived its working. I will make a note of your correspondance..Many Thanks!
