Day 6 of Tour 4 and our 2nd Moderate Risk. Looks like we will be heading North and East from our starting location of St Joseph and heading into Central Iowa for a 10% Tornado Risk today. Hope we can get some good terrain up there.

I know it's crazy this year Arron, have forgotton how many States we have done. At least we are starting the right side of the Missouri today and dont have to worry about bridge crossings etc.

I am quite hopeful for my first June Tornado today.........that's probably screwed it now LOL

Hope you are well as I see you are back in Blighty now

Thanks Mate.

Yeah remember Iowa from a few years ago, and it is pretty much Cornfields and Amish People driving Horse and Carts etc. Not much else happens up there unless you live in Des Moines or Iowa City.

Heading out in 1 hour, will try to keep you updated with the GPS Position, streaming is a mare as we are using too much power in the car and the Inverter keeps blowing on the Streaming Pluter!

Not had much luck with the cars this year ;) Also had a puncture myself in Death Valley too on my trip after chasing :hi: Not fun changing the tyre in 40c heat only to find it's one of those space saver jobbies!

Anyways, good luck again :)

Just noticed that Monday in Kansas looks very active, possibly around Salina-Hutchinson. While you've been out of Texas, temps there have soared to 105-110 F in Midland and southern panhandle areas. This superheated air is trying to push further northeast and runs into the wedge of cooler air coming down tonight behind the IL-IN cold front. Looks to me like Pratt to Garden City could be 102-104 F on Monday, ICT may be into the hottest air mass, then a wedge of 90-95 F humid air is caught in between that and the cool modified arctic air. Could be volatile on Monday then.
