Cloud breaks developed shortly after observation allowing a few sunny spells, but this only allowed the cumulus clouds to build rapidly, these produced some heavy showers in the area, but this location managed to miss them all, but for a few spots blown in by the strong and blustery SW wind.

The evening saw a couple of hours of light rain. Top temperature 21.1c, maximum wind gust 29mph.

Turned into a chilly and damp afternoon yet again, 15.2c with light rain feeling more like autumn.

It has been a right day here today, one or two sprinkles but nothing really to speak of. The wind has been the main feature of the day, it hs been showing above 20 mph most the time, with 44 mph gust this morning at 1100 hrs. and another one this afternoon of 43 mph at 1400 hrs. There appear to be heavy showers all around me at the present time, but still dry. The wind has just started to ease off in the past 30 minutes or so.
