Approxmently 1:30pm this afternoon, Queen Street in Oxford got struck by lightning. It was extreemly loud and sounded like a bomb going off. Police had to shut down queen street for nearly an hour, with ambulance present. No photos unfortantly, it all happend very, very quickly. Just thought I share this because it is actually very rare for a street so close to home get hit like that.

Talk about being lucky there. I think lightning + a gas leak is a seriously bad idea :)

I diddn't know there was a gas leak till a day later. There was lightning which hit the street around 1pm ish.
