ooohhh my nope - still swearinging god....the loadest clap of thunder i have ever heard just happened here in winchester..flash and boom....dog shot off like grease lightning

well today in ipswich we have had lots of fork lightning (spectacular) and thunder with a few torrential showers (and i mean torrential- the biggest raindrops i have ever seen makin huge dollops on the ground) Its not a 'storm' as such but very spectacular to be in and watch- we also had a very summery mornin which is always good (after the rain that is :-x ). Hopefully some more tomorrow :D Temps dropped significantly in rain though, it was very chilly

the radar loop for today would seem to suggest far more storms in the S and SE than reported. Anyone else have any reports etc from today?
