    -13.5C right now; the lowest of the night so far, and the lowest of this cold spell. Could well drop another degree or two, with the lowest temperature's generally happening around 8am recently.

    Temp got down to -16.3c which is a record for my back garden, has risen marginally to -16.1c, last few days have been desperate up here.

    Another severe frost overnight, though an area of cloud moved over the area during the early hours lifting the temperature to the 24 hour maximum of –2.3c. by 09:00 GMT. Low overnight –6.2c with 24-hour minimum in the screen was –10.1c. A t observation, cloudy with a few light snow flakes.

    After the coldest day on local record here yesterday since 1991, max –5.8c. Another very severe frost here, low –10.1c with –10.6c on the grass (snow) At observation Thick freezing fog, clear overhead. Currently the temperature is –9.6c, and started to fall again, was –10.1c by 10:00 GMT. This place is a winter wonderland. Another amazing stat, the mean maximum here currently stands at –0.1c The mean min is –6.7c. The fog cleared form here around 10:30GMT with wall to wall sunshine, but very cold again, to temperature up to 15:00gmt, -6.0c, however another fog bank rolled in towards the end of the afternoon and the temperature lifted to –2.3c.

    The light snow yesterday evening did not amount to anything and was followed by a cloudy night with an increasing N wind.

    Currently dry and cold with 4 oktas Stcu which is clearing to the south east, a few Cb tops visible on the eastern horizon. The temp' is -2.1c after a min' of -5.3c.

    A day of sunny spells and occasional heavy snow showers. Areas in which snow had thawed now have a dusting again, but mean snow depth still stands at around 12cm. The min temp last night before the showers arrived was -2.1C. This is now the 14th consecutive day of cover at 0900.

    Currently 1.3C and 92% humidity with a maximum temperature of 1.6C half an hour ago.

    0.2mm in the gauge, so theres a slow thaw at present.

    Overcast and misty start, sunny spells from lunchtime onwards. Currently partly cloudy, 0.5 deg C, wind light NE. Today's maximum 2.2, last night's minimum -1.8.

    Still cold here, but we've definitely been having a quiet spell of weather in this area the past couple of weeks compared with many parts of the country.
