My Syncom has been stuck probing for a couple of days now ! Is it just me or do others have the same problem ?

I noticed my syncom is sitting at probing for last couple of days too.

Should be running again now, had some network issues into it. It'll be going onto a new system soon to remove these occasional reliability issues.

Done that already still not working. You haven't chopped me off have you? And strangely it's now come back online as I type.

Looks like a problem with 02 broadband. I also have another syscon going to another supplier which isn't effected though.

If I switch to virgin cable it connects straight away on 02 it just probes. Strangely it keeps connected when I switch back.

May be dns related - might be worth trying google or open dns on the o2 connection.

I use opendns due to having dual wan and load balance. Could try google dns instead all very strange. What port does syscon communicate on?

Yes it is a bit strange that's for sure - it's port 44965.
