What Will This Year Bring.

Hi all.

I have not had any real storm activity since I last posted in the storm section about 5 years ago. It was not all bad though I have had some amazing storms whilst on my travels, particularly in Guyana.

So what are peoples predictions for this year?

I for one think it is going (or hoping) to be a good year.

Yes, I also have a good feeling about this year! I have had a very quiet few years. I used to get some great storms where I live but now absolutely nothing!

Every year is always a surprise .The last few years have been very poor for almost everybody!

Morning Adi and welcome!

I'm not going to predict anything for this year (I don't mean that there will be nothing, I'm just not predicting!!) but I am hoping for something worth chasing and photographing/videoing. If it starts to look like its going to be like last year, I shall be having a word with Mr Sherman and see if we can't rustle up a European stormchase if people want to get some storms in!

I am not predicting it will be a good year I am hoping it will be a good year, mostly because I have more time to sit up and take notice.

I feel your pain Jane, I don't recall a single clap of thunder in years but to be fair I have not been in a position to drop everything and chase it if I did.

The Shermanator still on the forum then. Does he still run the storm league table each year?

Hopefully we will get something similar to this video sometime during this Winter.

That would be a lot of snow with some lightning mixed in as well.
