East Anglia Weather..

Okay so am new to this lol and have looked on metoffice site and it has said possibly storms, but does anyone know whether there is going to be any thunderstorms in east anglia today near cambridge area??

There is rain heading for the South east tonight and tomorrow, with the coastal line ie Great Yarmouth last to see it clear tomorrow, as for thunderstorms as ever they'll be hit and miss, Cambridge can expect some heavy rain from around 22:00 tonight till around 04:00 before it becomes lighter and clears around 07:00 with sunny intervals by afternoon.

Yeah they seem to always miss here lol am dying for a good loud thunderstorm

Hi and welcome to Netweather! Tonight rain will spread up from the South, heavy at times for EA though some areas will end up seeing a lot more rain than others. Sadly though, the chance for thunderstorms as a result from this rainfall is minimal, though a few claps of thunder and an isolated sferic certainly can't be ruled out.
