Just had a look at the NW radar and there's very little rain getting across to East Anglia and the south east of England where they need it most. They must despair of ever getting useful rainfall bearing in mind the number of occasions so far this year when fronts have died away to nothing.

It has rained persistantly from around 10am, and it turned heavier into the afternoon. Current temperature is a cool 10.9C, so far 6.8mm of rain has fallen today.

lol, this is more like it TM, temperature even here struggling to reach 11c, currently 10.5c, the wind has been touching gale force as well and accompanied by continuous moderate rain. Coming up to 15mm now, should be the wettest day of the year so far.
