On the 30th July 1991, Luciano Pavarotti held a free concert in Hyde Park, London. Unfortunately it was a washout with the 150,000 crowd including some notable VIPs getting a soaking. An inch of rain was recorded that day in London and two inches nearer to Birmingham. The tabloids came up with the headline "Pavawetti"
