Reports & Pictures Chase Day 9 - Arizona

Day 9 and even more storms this time closer to home base and only 160 miles in all around trip. A trough was located straddling Phoenix and storms kicked off at 4pm to the east and started to move North West. Today I really wanted to concentrate on being east of the Storm looking West and trying to get the Cactus, Sunset, Mountain and Cg Shot. The weather gods gave me 3 of them so well happy with the results. Saw a Nice Storm to the East of Casa Grande so positioned down Highway 79 to run down the Eastern Side. At 7pm just as the sun set the Cg's cranked up as the cloud tops cooled and put on a great show for us and all this 40 miles SE Of Phoenix. All storms died out so no Night-Time shots today and we got back to the Hotel at 11pm after being out for just 6 hours.

Btw Today looks awesome for the Phoenix area so I am going to try and get the Iconic Shot of Cg's raining down behind the Downtown Skyscrapers.

Another great batch. I recon you actually only got one photograph and are really sitting round the pool drinking beer having employed the nerdy teenager to photoshop the rest. Lol
