There's actually more heavy PPN in southern England right now than northern France.

Skies looking pretty tasty to the north of here at the mo, would suspect a chance of thunder if there were more people on this forum at the mo!

Few heavy downpours has developed South of Cardiff - still 16.8C here with dewpoint of 16C and humidity of 90%

Had heavy rain here last night and sunny spells today,Not very warm in the sun,no rain here today but heard somewhere we could get heavy rain tomorrow,Having searched the net i now think there will be no thundery activity at all during or after the predicted hot spell.

I don't really expect any thunderstorms... We need more than just hot air for a storm, and high pressure will just keep things very clear, calm, and settled. Lovely weather, but just not conducive to storms. (Not that I'm any sort of expert.)
