I think 30.1c will be the eventual top temp today. The Welsh record has also been broken and now stands at 28.2c at Hawarden.

Its funny to think the highest temperatures recorded in the UK for April, September and October have all surpassed July, with 27.8c, 29.2c, 29.9*(as of a few minutes ago) and 27.2c recorded respectfully.

Incredible September and Octuber. Ive never seen it before...usually in this time my mountains (up to 2000 meters) should be with snow....but there isn´t...
