Two Base Units Reading From One Transmitter?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I've had excellent service from my Elecsa AstroTouch 6975 (AKA Watson WH1081 / Zephyr PWS-1000TD) since 2008. I've just bought a second base unit second hand in the hope of having one base unit in my living room, and one in my kitchen, both picking up the signal from the original transmitter outside.

However, the new base unit is not 'seeing' the transmitter. I presume the base units and transmitters are 'paired' somehow to allow them to see eachother. Does anyone know if the new base unit can also be 'paired' with the original transmitter?

I notice that when you power up the base unit, it displays a 4 digit number momentarily. I suspect this may have somethig to do with the pairing process.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

ProfessorBug
