Historical Ensemble Data

I'm currently working in a student research project and my assignment is to get a grip on the degree of uncertainty in weather predictions (especially wind speeds and direction).

So in this context I would like to compare my results with the professional ensemble calculations from some weather service.

Could anyone point me to a website, where I can get (historical) ensemble predictions for the state of the sea and/or wind direction and speed?

It wouldbe really nice if the data was to be available as text rather than a graphic, but any data would be helpful.
