Quite cold for a northerly in the last day of winter! Was searching for March's with a CET of 6.5C, came across 1993 which had 6.6C but noticed this at the end of February, caught my eye and wondered if there was a thread for it on here

Chilly maxes for the 28th, 2.2C Coventry, 0.0c Buxon.

I remember this one.  Even down here in north Hampshire we had about a centimetre of snow on the Saturday evening.  It quite quickly vanished the next day.  The fact we got snow from this may suggest a trough moved down in the flow.
