Magnetic Water Conditioners

Any one got any experience of using these when you have hard water?

Seems a bit unlikely but there are stanger things in life.

Yes, I've got one - it was already here when I bought the house. I was a bit sceptical but yes they do make quite a big difference, they're not as good as traditional salt ones but you don't get the cost of all the salt either. Hubby was quite adamant that they're rubbish so when we gutted the kitchen he didn't bother plumbing it back in, within a couple of months we had scale problems on the taps, kettle furring up etc, he quickly changed his mind and put it back.
