Arrrrgh would you believe it all those lovely showers are going either side of me, I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad noooo. To top it off it rained this evening, nothing heavy but still and the thaw is well and truly underway. Fingers crossed the colds going to bite back otherwise all the snow will be long gone.

Didn't even get a snow day out of it the flipping school still opened anyway booooo!

LOL Mrsf16, I dont think it will be as bad saturday just showery. Still you are leaving the snow shield behind. Im sure you will be fine. Goodluck in your new home. Everyone in the thread invited to the house warming....?

Meto just updated to show snow over the next few hours for peterborough :), and my local weather station has just said sleet/snow in the next hour :)

That larger band really appears to be heading peterborough cambridge ,northampton,bedford way.

Thanks Jason! Not moving out of the snowshield, only going a few streets down the road lol! but still, need a van to get the big stuff over lol!! Will send invites.... err... soon :D lol xxx

The Netweather radar (8:45pm return) has a line a showers heading my way though the core will probably just miss to my west. Very marginal here, 0.8C with an 0.8C dewpoint.

Think those arrows should be more south than that. Later the showers should start veering west a bit further

Just to put a dampner on things - the showers over the Wash at the moment are of rain (cold rain - but rain!)

The petit chat is warm and fed, at least it was a typo that made sense (if you're French) hehehe.

Anyways I hope it doesn't get down below freezing tonight now because if it does the roads and pavements are going to be diabolical

Looks like the shower has got here - although appears to be sleet at best on the leading edge - the temperature here is +1.8C
