At this stage, it remains quite unclear regarding the upcoming Summer, but I have to admit, the prospects look distinctly better this year than the last few had. Or is it just me?

I'm working on a long-range forecast but could already say that the evidence is pointing more towards warm than cool, rather scattered on rainfall. Hope to have this forecast out in early May, but leaning towards warm with adequate rainfall. That sort of combination might suggest a better than average severe storm set-up.
