Dug this old footage out that I took of that magnificent comet McNaught from January 2007. Sadly from our latitude we only got a brief glimpse of this comet during the evening twilight of January 2007 before it got to close to the sun and then reappeared for viewers in the southern hemisphere. Not sure when the next brilliant comet will be but we can only hope that it will be very soon and we get the best of the view!

Fascinating video Mr D :) Hard to think it's been 5 years since Mcnaught was visible. I can clearly remember seeing it just after sunset from just across my road. Here's hoping we get another one like that soon
