Currently mostly clear and cold with a heavy ground frost.

The current temperature is 0.4C, which is the min so far and just 0.3C off the record low May temperature at this site in 32 years.

It was frosty this morning but low was only 1.1C, it was rather breezy until this morning. Lovely and sunny - won't last however.

A mainly clear but less cold night than the last two. A few fog patches earlier in the valleys and on some of the slopes.

A sunny start to the morning but cloud has increased steadily from the south west in the last hour and a half.

Monday 07th May 2012:

Clear overnight, though temperatures were prevented from falling quickly by a continued force 2-3 easterly wind. Low 2.5c with 1.0c on the grass. The day dawned bright with sunny spells, high and mid level cloud increasing from the south. At observation, it has turned almost overcast within the last half and hour, still dry.

There was enough cloud and continued force 2-3 north-east breeze last night to prevent the temperature from falling away to quickly, though a clearing sky around 03:30 GMT allowed for a ground frost, the temperature fell to a minimum of 0.5c with –2.5c on the grass. The day stayed dry with sunny spells, feeling quite pleasant in the sun as the wind was just light from the NE. The evening was dry and clear.

9.4C, cloudy with no rain yet, and that rain is looking pretty wimpy on the radar, would be surprised if it even wet the ground! Brilliant! :D

Change now apparent. Rain has stopped, areas of blue, higher cloud. Sun very strong when it comes out and temperatures have reached 14C. Blustery wind has sprung up.

That's encouraging. Feeling hopeful that clearer weather spreads up to here. :) Had some rain today and is still raining slightly, but it's not been trying hard enough. The temperature is currently around 8.4*C.

A much better day than forecast with the rain being confined to a light shower around one-ish

A cold and sunny start to the morning but with cloud increasing quickly after 0600. Dry until around 1115 g.m.t when light rain spread in from the south west and lasted a couple of hours. The afternoon was then chilly and cloudy after 1315 g.m.t with drizzle or light rain returning after 1500 g.m.t, together with intermittent hill fog by 1700 g.m.t

At 1800 g.m.t;
