Seems like an eternity but Chase Day 1 Proper is finally here and we are making an early Start today leaving in about 90 minutes heading South from DFW. Have a 280 Mile drive South for Stage 1 today to be in San Antonio for Lunch, will refine from there.

Hoping the Tornado Parameters remain favourable further towards the Coast, things that could scupper us would be groups of Storms / MCS's moving out of Northern Mexico, if we can get enough clearing for a few Supercells to Develop then we could be in the action later on today, might even be a bonus Lightning fest over the Gulf Of Mexico overnight as well.

Yep, good luck with the trek down south - might even see a spout off the Gulf Coast - be a NW chase first?

good luck, the main challenge will be viewing, with the amount of tropical moisture around. Sea breeze front inland from CC a likely final destination.
