Just after 3pm on the 30th may I was out front and could see ever darker cumulus clouds gathering above but I wanted to wait a bit because i've been let down by that in the past!. A family member came back and noted that it looked like rain out to sea, I went upstairs and looked out the back window and could see an explosion of cloud, towering every higher upwards. Asked my sister if she wanted to come to Reculver and see if we got any storms but by that time I heard the first rumble!. We made a mad dash to the coast and witnessed one of the best afternoon storms out to sea i've seen for some time.

It's a shame that the camcorder's viewpoint is limited and i missed many of the best bolts but I could clearly see them to one side!

The outflow was incredible, I wondered if a tornado was about to touch down biggrin.png
