Reports Video And Pictures Chase Day 27 - Co/wy

Started the day in Denver with a decent risk for Supercells and possible Tornadoes with the Denver Cyclone setting up. Today we hoped for High Plains Structure more than anything and that is what we got with a beautiful Classic Supercell in SE Wyoming. Initial chase target today was Wiggins (Colorado) and that is where the 1st cell of the day fired just 5 miles from us, tracked this North but it was struggling early in it's life. Another cell 30 miles to our North West on the Colorado and Wyoming border drew our attention and so we moved up dirt roads to intercept, a beautiful High Plains Classic Supercell awaited us SE Of Cheyenne. Watched this put on a structure show and weak rotation, followed this all the way to within 1 mile of the Nebraksa border where unsurprisingly it went downhill quickly and promply became outflow dominant but not before it had a ground hugging wall cloud. Then dropped south for some Lightning shots and was caught off guard by a very strong Supercell near Cheyenne at darkness, this Supercell got glanced by the low level jet and also nearly put a Tornado down, then got to the hotel and got battered with an hour's worth of close Cg's and constant thunder, flooding was nearly 4 feet high in the downtown area.
