Cooler near the coast of Somerset although very little rain and perhaps more sun than expected early afternoon. Very dark and dreary at 5.00 p.m. but rain did not appear despite threatening. Cleared up at about 7.30 p.m. to brighter evening with large areas of blue - but staying cold at 12C.
