I said not a tornado cos I couldnt say it touched down only is was verry possible, I then said it would have been a water spout because it was over water. I said not a supecell I said mesos form on supercells. However I am still pleased with my catch. I rewrote the article but they never used my amended version. But what the hell

Rory's comment did add a bit of weight to it. Obviously no doubt about the funnel and I guess there is a possibility that is could have a least disturbed the surface a little because it came well down. But cant say because of the trees.

But happy with my two days.
