Weather Display Live Installation

Hi everyone,

I am still considering buying another weather station which will link to Weather Display Live

Is there an installation video I can follow? I get confused by written instructions

Weather Display Live doesnt connect to any stations. It's a web based flash program which uses files uploaded by weather display to supply the data.

Weather display is a complex program with a messy gui and a lot of duplication so I can understand why you are confused. The program is updated regularly which means bugs are fixed quickly however because of the regular updates and supported stations bugs maybe re-introduced later so if you have a working version stick with it unless new features are added.

I do wonder about the future of WDL with it being so dependent on flash.

Not good it will need converting to another format I think.

It was a nightmare for me to setup. I have a reasonable knowledge of PCs but I was beat by the relatively so called easy configuration exercise that is supplied with the download. I had to get my daughters whizz kid boyfriend to do it for me. Took him about half hour to work it out to. The result though is found within my website but as others have mentioned if flash disappears then more configuration work will have to be done.

They should change it to HTML5 flash is being phrased out now..
