Temperature was up to 22.4C at around 12:00 and even with the very brisk wind, it was warm in the sunshine. The rain moved in around 13:00 and the temperature dropped to around 19-20C. A huge burst of rain (began at 15:30) which flooded much of Blackpool temporarily put the temperature down to 15.2C, the weather from 15:30-16:00 was really very remarkable to witness and drive in. It was all over the local radio.
