It's horrid! I recall watching the river here engulf the bridge prior to it flooding the valley and you marvel at the power of it all until it bursts through and then all you can think of is the poor folk that it's now impacting.

We'd better pray that we have not damaged our climate to the point that we have added into all of this?

edit - I sent him the shot and he sent these back and said this ""Yep, that's us. The water has reached the edge of our building. A couple of the other high-rises have moats, but only one of those has lost power. The streets are flooded. We still have power, but may lose it any minute.""
