Watch the GOOFUS correct the low west in the 12z run. I still am not believing until it arrives.

Urban Dictionary: goofus

12z NAE. Eastwards adjustment I think?post-5249-0-58871900-1358607981_thumb.jp

yep, good in so much that it would make things less marginal (not that they were possibly that marginal anyway) but it

does somewhat reduce the snowfall amount (the heavier of which is now progged to hit the water instead of land)

a was trying to make this point earlier until i was made to feel rather foolish by somewhere who clearly knows more

than i do . . . .

So hows the snow cover in Ockendon?

I had a cm but its reduced quite a bit lol!

Tomorrow will make or break our cup draw...

I'd compare it to a smear of Clover in your sandwich! I'd need an electro microscope to measure the depth! I've a sneaky feeling you've kicked a goal in!

Yep - definate shift eastwards - looking really good for the eastern contingent now. But this will change again - small shifts of 50 miles east/west still possible in next few runs.

Really wish the mods would STOP deleting on topic posts, which have replies in the model thread discussion. If you want to delete something, then put a reason why. They are even too damn lazy to move it to the regional, I could do their job!

For south east it was VERY wrong, timing was wrong, precipitation rates were WRONG. Many of us were discussing it all day yesterday in the regional. Will be interesting to see how accurate it is for tomorrow! <- this was a reply to the NAE forecast model.

Anyway, we are still getting snow flurries, it's still below 0c and feels damn bitter biggrin.png

I moved your off topic post to the bin - where it belonged. I don't think that I am 'too damn lazy' Neil. If you actually could be bothered to put it in the moaning thread where it belonged in the first place, then perhaps you would have saved me the job in the first place. Moderating is difficult enough without posters themselves being inconsiderate enough to think about what they are posting.

Posting on here is a privelege, not a right, Neil, and you could do well to realise that, because that privelege can quite easily be denied. And in your case perhaps it should, because the only thing you bring to the forum is moaning and think that by calling yourself VM, can in anyway justify that!

Colder air now here after we reached the giddy heights of 0.3 at 13.37.

Now 0.0, DP -1.1.

Still lots of lying snow and a nice piste on the pavements!
