Approx 30mins until S Yorks gets the Snow MOAB bomb.gifbomb.gifbomb.gifbomb.gif

The ploughs are out already which is a very good sign.

Moderate snow here too, big flakes though, just got in from a really nice meal a Carluccios would advise anyone looking for a nice Italian to go there.

Temperatures dropping, currently -0.7c

Wow as i thought the north yorkshire was going to get the heaviest but look how that stream is aiming for south yorkshire. Could be an EPIC night with the winds gusts of 40mph for 9pm tonight! -1c tonight too according to the chart!

to indicate how persistent the snow is, two cars drove down my road (in Hyde Park, Leeds) less than 5 minutes ago and the tyre tracks have basically vanished. Lighter now, although pepping up again as I write.

The temp and dew points are looking very good atm, but just need to get lucky with some heavy PPN to get a good covering.

Yeah the radar is rather uninspiring atm for here hopefully it'll improve soon as there's literally no precipitation around.

The first patch of darker ppn on the radar is on a direct collision course for here, i hope it stays in tact over the pennines, or better still beefs up.

Hmm, the Pennines are really sapping the energy out of the initial snow band..

snow is whizzing past the lamposts in Brigg - light and too quick to stick!

Lets hope the snow goes out in a blaze of glory (as long as that blaze doesn't melt it)
