    A clear frosty start but a steady breeze preventing an air frost.

    clear sky and a ground frost with a low, so far of 0.8C, not much breeze at all now after being breezy early on

    A dry and clear night with the NW wind gradually decreasing. A clear start to this morning with some early sunshine but a veil of Cs has spread in fom the west in the past hour.

    A few bits of snow still lying here but the hills to the north ( Curbar Edge, Froggatt Edge, Big Moor and Sir William Hill ) still have a snow cover.
