It's almost comical Conor

Luckily precip should start to move more NW then west as the night progresses, may be a case of to little to late though if it starts fizzling out.

1.7c here. And you know what, even if it doesn't Snow, i've still had a great time on here today. Half the fun is talking to everyone here and lampost watching, actual snow falling is just the icing on the cake smile.png

isn't it true that if the dp falls below 0 the snow will settle more readily?

Yep!

I tell you what, no matter what happens tonight regarding snow, there are going to be some very serious issues regarding ice. If temps keep falling as they are, all those puddles are about to freeze solid over the next few hours.

Maybe if everyone turns off their central heating, that will make the crucial difference between sleet and snow outside? acute.gif

About a 80/20 mix now of snow/rain, in fact more like 90/10, temperature falling steadily, luckily dry gap is filling in a bit.

dp still over 1 here so sleet falling, no sign of snow, not a chance of settling snow imo!
