No ,but the longer this type of pattern carries on (Hopefully) the better. The latest Since 2007 craze has BEEN a warm March and April only to followed by wash out summers. We seriously need funny enough a long hot summer, I'm hoping we have the below average temps through till late March, Wet April and early May, Followed by A nice gradual incline to HP and warmth From late June through till September, With the odd Cracking Storm thrown in.

Now there I agree I think, as I seem to recall as a 70's/80's child that the seasons were indeed "seasonal", now they all seem a bit *fudged*

What I would not give for some text book seasonal weather (or should that be story book?)

good point, well presented and errr, your right, today's warm day was nice and more like it would be nice, thought looking at the latest charts I suspect that will not be the case.

Evening all, I have been following this forum for over three years now and finally thought its time to join the party. After looking though the modles the last 48h there is a good chance for this cold spell to last through to the 2nd / 3rd week of March. I'm looking forward to the coming week for what I'm sure will be many ups and downs.

Thank you to Steve M for your contribution on here I've learnt a huge amount from the likes of yourself over the last 3 years.

Welcome to net-weather...good.gif

LOL Jax, Yeh probably right with the story book. I think its just global cycles, I have a link to every Daily/Weekly weather the UK has gone through, Apparently it goes way back to the Vikings oddly enough, Infact the Bible lol.

Now thats what I call an easterly. Superb charts those!!

Given thats its a new model i'd be very reticent to ignore it at this point. Certainly snow moving NW out of France can't be ruled out.

Am I the only one on here now wishing for spring/warmth/sun rather than cold/snow ?

do not want to sound/be a party pooper, just asking, as at the end of the day we will get what the weather gods deal us anyway, no matter what we want or what the models predict us.

Go to the bathroom and wash your mouth out young man. That's cold and snowy weather blasphemy..... ;-)

Happy to say that I love weather that is useful or exciting. By that I mean today was beautiful, t shirt and jeans while chopping down some trees and pruning a few others in the garden - a truly beautiful day. Hopefully our large apple tree with produce more apples this year ! The cold stuff and especially the snow is great fun too. I am hoping for a good long warm summer to enjoy the socialising and burning everything on the BBQ, gathering.gifbut another shot of snow would be fantastic first, pretty please. cold.gif

John P my heart goes out to you, you're having a dreadful time I know, but hopefully a few of the well chosen words from people you may never have even met will help you keep fighting on.

An Leemondo, congrats ! Its great to be a Dad isn't it. When our little one arrived nearly 6 years ago, I was in bits, I've been a soppy Dad ever since. I remember it like it was yesterday, some memories never ever fade.
